    Portsmouth parking

    All Saints Car Park is located in Church Street in the heart of Portsmouth City Centre, it is within walking distance to the shopping areas of Commercial Road and the Cascades Shopping Centre.

    This is the closest car park to the Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum at 393 Old Commercial Road. You can walk to the museum from here crossing the busy Church Road with care at the pedestrian crossing. Charles Dickens was born here on the 7th February 1812.

    Ashby Place Car Park in Southsea, is right in the heart of the Southsea's Palmerston Road shopping area, this small car park is tucked just round the corner from Buckwells butchers shop on Osborne Road.

    From here you can explore the shops restaurants and cafes in Palmerston Road, Osborne Road and Marmion Road. When you have finished shopping, a short walk south from here brings you onto Southsea Common and Southsea Seafront with its many attractions and sea views.

    Broad Street Car Park, Old Portsmouth. The entrance to the car park is located on East Street as you follow the short section of one way traffic direction. This car park is ideal if you are visiting Old Portsmouth.

    From here you can easily visit the fortifications of Old Portsmouth which have been tastefully reused as artist workshops and galleries. There are great views of the harbour mouth, the Spinnaker Tower and beyond Gunwharf Quays of Portsmouth Harbour itself, the home of the Royal Navy. A short walk away you will find St Thomas' Cathedral on the High Street and the Royal Garrison Church on Penny Street.

    Canoe Lake Car Park is located on Southsea Esplanade at Southsea. It is just east of Canoe Lake on the Seafront, across the road from the beach and promenade.
    From here it is just a short walk to Canoe Lake Park, Southsea Model Village, Natural History Museum and Butterfly House and Southsea Seafront.
    There is a childrens play park here as well as a water splash area during the summer season. Within Lumps Fort is the tranquil Rose Gardens with its fine display of fragrant roses.

    Cascades Multi-storey Car Park, is located in the heart of Portsmouth's city centre Commercial Road Shopping Area, it is part of the Cascades Shopping Centre an indoor shopping centre, with a wide range of over 50 stores, ranging from fashion to sportswear, fabrics to shoes.

    From this car park you can walk into the Cascades Shopping Centre, a short walk away are the Commercial Road and Arundel Street shopping areas.

    Clarence Pier Car Park is located on Long Curtain Road in Southsea, just off of Southsea Seafront, behind the fun fair.

    Clarence Street car Park is located on Clarence Street just north of Marketway in Portsmouth city centre and close to the Commercial Road shopping area.

    This is a good choice if you are visiting Commercial Road and the Cascades Shopping Centre.

    Market Way has excellent connections to the M275 motorway in and out of the city, as well as routes into the city towards Gunwharf Quays and Old Portsmouth.

    Crasswell Street multistory Car Park, is located in Portsmouth city centre close to Commercial Road shopping area, it is situated on the upper floors above the Tesco supermarket. There is a choice of lifts and stairs to access the street level.

    This car park is convenient for the city centre shopping at Commercial Road and Arundel Street and is a short walk to the central Post Office and Portsmouth Guildhall.

    The D-Day Car Park is found on Southsea Seafront (Clarence Esplanade, and is located directly behind the D-Day Landing Craft LCT 7074 at the D-Day Museum.

    From here it is a short walk to Southsea Castle and the Blue Reef Aquarium.

    This car park also has dedicated spaces for coach parking. Toilet facility's are also available at this car park.

    It is just behind Portsmouth Central Library and is a good choice for Portsmouth Guildhall, New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth City Council Civic Offices, Portsmouth Magistrates Court and Portsmouth Combined Court Centre on Winston Churchill Avenue all just a short walk away.

    Esplanade Car Park in Southsea is located at Clarence Esplanade, on the corner of Southsea Common, where Pier Road joins Clarence Esplanade.

    From here it is a short walk to Southsea Seafront, the Ryde Isle of Wight Hovercraft and the Funfair at Clarence Pier. If you walk through the fair and continue along the promenade going west, you can walk into Old Portsmouth where you will find the Royal Garrison Church on Penny Street, the Tudor fortifications, Camber Dock and a variety of waterside pubs.

    Gunwharf Road Car Park is located on Gunwharf Road, directly opposite the Wightlink, Isle of Wight Car Ferry terminal. It is a 10 minute walk from Portsmouth Harbour Railway Station and The Hard Interchange bus station.

    It is a short walk from here to St Thomas' Cathedral on the High Street, Old Portsmouth and the Camber Dock is also a short walk away.

    Be aware that this car park is closed on selected peak travel days as the car park is required for vehicle marshalling.

    Old London Road, Cosham. Very small car park, tucked just around the corner from the Red Lion pub in Cosham. Good for Cosham High street shopping, Cosham Library.

    At the end of the M275 at Portsmouth's International Port. With ferries operating to Caen, Cherbourg, Le Havre, St Malo, Bilbao, Santander, Jersey and Guernsey. The four storey APCOA car park is open 24 hours a day and is just a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal.

    Part of the Waitrose supermarket located on Marmion Road, Southsea, this two storey car park is close to the Palmerston Road and Marmion Road shops. Charges apply but this is discounted when shopping at the Waitrose store.

    This is the closest public car parking site to the Kings Theatre in Albert Road. It is an eight minute walk from here to the theatre.

    Located on the lower floors of the tower block in Wickham Street is a multi storey car park, used as an overflow car park by the Gunwharf Quays outlet shopping complex.

    Travel west along Queen Street heading towards the Historic Dockyard, Wickham Street is the last turning on the left, just before you get to the Hard Interchange.

    Excellent for visiting Gunwharf Quays Outlet Shops, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Portsmouth Harbour Station.
