Cascades Shopping Centre is situated directly off of Commercial Road, Portsmouth's traditional city centre shopping area, the Cascades Shopping Centre offers a modern, indoor shopping area with plenty of on site parking.
The Cascades Shopping Centre is a bright and spacious, modern indoor shopping centre, with a wide range of over 50 stores, ranging from fashion to sportswear, fabrics to shoes. Some of the larger stores include Next, Primark, H&M and Sports Direct.
The centre was built on the Moores Square site, behind Commercial Road, during 1987 and 1989 and opened in September 1989. The Cascades Shopping Centre had a major £20m refurbishment programme in 2007, providing a much improved shopping experience.
Approximately 185,000 - 230,000 people use the shopping centre each week. The Cascades Centre can be accessed from several entrances in Commercial Road, Charlotte Street and Spring Street. Alternative car parks include: Clarence Street Car Park, Crasswell Street Car Park, and Market Way Car Park. All of the retail stores are located on one level, with stairs and lifts providing access to the food court.
