The Canteen
Located in the former point battery and barracks in historic old Portsmouth, The Canteen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The breakfast menu includes eggs royale, eggs benedict, breakfast stacks, waffles and sandwiches. there is seating inside with the impressive exposed brick arched ceilings, outside on the waterfront deck, with more seating outside in front of the hotwalls studios.

The Chambers
The Chambers are located on Landport Terrace just opposite Ravelin Park and offer sophisticated dining in the heart of Portsmouth.

The Crate Cafe
A little bit off the beaten track at Trafalgar Wharf in Portchester but well worth the effort for a cracking breakfast. The Crate Cafe has been created from converted shipping containers and sits right on the edge of Portsmouth Harbour at Trafalgar Wharf looking east towards Port Solent, at the old Vosper Thornycroft site. The outside seating area has great views across the harbour whilst in the inside is cosy and welcoming.
The menu includes all of your favourites such as the traditional full English with Treagust Butchers Bacon and Sausages, Baked Beans, Fried Eggs, Crispy Hashbrowns, Oven-Roasted Tomato, Mushrooms and Buttered Toast, Veggie Full English Cooked Breakfast or how about a Breakfast Burrito, a toasted tortilla wrap filled with Scrambled Egg, Beans, Sriracha Sauce, Crumbled Feta, Smashed Avocado and Sauteed Spinach.
When you arrive for the first time you might think you are in the wrong place, but persevere, follow The Crate sign boards through the boatyard all the way to the edge of the wharf beside the Drystack boat storage hall.

Panero's has a great range of breakfast dishes to choose from such as the vegetarian brooklyn brunch consisting of two poached eggs, spicy black beans, spinach and guacamole on toasted ciabatta with roasted cherry tomatoes and grilled halloumi.
For something more traditional how about the lounge breakfast, smoked back bacon, cumberland sausage, hash browns, baked beans, slow-roasted tomato, button mushrooms, fried egg and toast.

Parade Tea Rooms
The Parade Tea Rooms is located right on Southsea Common on Western Parade in Southsea, with great views from the window seats. Breakfast is served until 12 noon, all of your favourites are on the menu, full English etc, as well as vegetarian selections and gluten free selections.
The Parade Tea rooms are always busy so you might need to wait a few minutes to be seated, but it will be worth it.

The Sourdough Bakehouse on Elm Grove is next door to the Huis Belgian bar. as the name suggests they specialise in baking great sourdough breads and rolls for the retail and wholesale market, using traditional methods and traditional ingredients. The front of the bakehouse is home to a cosy coffee shop serving great value for money breakfasts. the house english breakfast is 2 bacon, 2 sausages, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato, hash browns, egg, toast and a glass of fruit juice.
