Look Up Street Art Festival Portsmouth, Sept 2024
Held over the weekend of the 14th and 15th September 2024, the Look Up Street Art Festival was held in Portsmouth. bringing together local and international artsists to create a stunning collection of Street Art across the city. Thank you to all of the volunteers helping out at the festival who have been very informative and friendly around the different sites.

Beau Stanton at Wimbledon Park, Portsmouth
Beau Stanton is an American artist known for his intricate, multi-layered murals, paintings, and prints. Ben Eine at The Hard, Railway Arches, Portsmouth
Great to meet Ben Eine painting down at the railway arches at The Hard in Portsea, part of the Look Up 2024 Festival.
Ben is a British street artist known for his bold, colorful typography on urban surfaces. Emerging in the early 2000s alongside Banksy, he transformed London’s streets with his vibrant letters and phrases, most notably on "Alphabet Street" in Middlesex Street. Initially a graffiti artist, Eine shifted to creating large, legal public artworks. His global recognition soared when UK Prime Minister David Cameron gifted one of his pieces to President Obama in 2010. Today, Eine’s work features in cities worldwide and includes collaborations with brands and charities.

Bex Glover at The Hard, Railway Arches
Bex Glover painting at the railway arches by Gunwharf Quays on Saturday morning. Bex is a contemporary artist and muralist based in Bristol, known for her vibrant, nature inspired artwork. Lovely sunny conditions for Giulio Vesprini and Mando Marie painting the old pedestrian railway bridge at the corner of Park Road and Anglesea Road on Saturday morning.

Local artist iSpy was having fun in the sun on Saturday morning on the corner of Meridan Road and Park Street. He said this painting was just for fun, he will be painting another work on the panel next door on Sunday.

My Dog Sighs at Cosham Station
Portsmouth's own My Dog Sighs painted this piece on the footbridge at Cosham railway station as part of the Look Up Festival 2024. The eye features an image of midwife Jax Davis, QA Hospital and Cosham High Street. Brilliant use of the lampost in the middle. More My Dog Sighs here.
Pogo at Highland Road
13/09/2024 Pogo painting a huge work at Highland Road in Southsea, this replaces his previous work here at the same location, opposite Highland Road Cemetery. Apparently this work is not part of the Look Up 2024 Festival as he was not invited? What an omission! We have included his work here anyway as it was the same weekend and let's face it he is a genius with the spray can.

Ricky Also at Portsmouth and Southsea Station
Ricky Also pictured with his "Shut Up and Skate" painting underneath the Portsmouth and Southsea Station bridge at Portsmouth city centre. Shut Up and Skate was an infamous skate board contest organised by brothers Barry and Mark Abrook at Southsea Skatepark's vert ramp.
