Claudia La Bianca Portsmouth 2024
Claudia La Bianca is an Italian born, previously Miami based street artist and muralist known for her vibrant, large-scale works that often feature powerful, feminine figures and vivid, dreamlike imagery. Her style blends elements of street art, fine art, and surrealism, creating pieces that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant. Claudia's work frequently explores themes of female empowerment, inner strength, and the beauty of the human spirit.
La Bianca began her career in the arts as a filmmaker and creative director, but she gained significant recognition in the world of street art for her bold murals that can be found in various cities around the world, particularly in Miami’s Wynwood Art District. Her murals often incorporate bright colors and intricate details, making them standout pieces in urban landscapes. Through her art, Claudia La Bianca aims to inspire and uplift, using the public canvas to connect with a wide audience.
The Art Department, refers to her collaboration with local Portsmouth based artists, namely Fark and DinCityDesign, going out together and painting the city on a regular basis.
Limitless creations laboratory is an artistic company she has set up with her husband through which she collaborates on various projects, including murals, installations, and design work. It serves as a hub for her artistic endeavors, allowing her to manage and execute large scale art projects, both independently and in collaboration with other artists and brands.
Claudia is currently working on an interactive art installation for we shine Portsmouth where it will be on display as well as a previous sculpture, a Mermaid tail she did, which has been on display at The Sculpture park in Churt. Claudia will also be painting for lookup Portsmouth Mural festival.
During the summer of 2024 Claudia moved to Portsmouth with her husband and has spent the summer painting a collection of works across the city including Southsea, Somerstown and the city centre, we have gathered those works together here, thanks Claudia.

The work showing The Portsmouth Art Department and Miami Art Department were painted on the hoardings across the road from Portsmouth and Southsea train station, outside of the Nosh Box street food stall.
The second work "The Power of Love" was painted at the empty Knight and Lee shop at Palmerston Road in Southsea.
