Aspex Gallery is Portsmouth's leading contemporary art gallery.

CITY MUSEUM GALLERY.
The art gallery on the second floor of the City Museum displays both fine and decorative art drawn from the permanent collections.
This includes paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, furniture, glass and textiles.
Works in the collection include those by local artists and craftsmen and from further afield and cover a period of approximately 500 years.

DRESS CIRCLE PROMENADE - KINGS THEATRE, SOUTHSEA.
The Kings Theatre in Albert Road has opened a new exhibition space for artists from across the region to display their work. The Dress Circle Promenade of this beautiful Edwardian Theatre, designed by renowned theatre architect Frank Matcham, is now being used a an exhibition space, both during performances and also as a stand alone venue.

LODGE ARTS CENTRE.
The Lodge Arts Centre, located in the north west corner of Victoria Park.
The centre hosts exhibitions, holds free community based art workshops including print making, drawing, computing, collage and video.
The real good coffee shop offers drinks and meals using Fairtrade products.

THE ROUND TOWER.
The Round Tower part of the historic defences of Portsmouth harbour, has been opened up for use as a unique art and exhibition space.
The tower is part of the ARTches project aimed at turning the historic buildings in Old Portsmouth into an Arts and Crafts quarter for the city.

THE SQUARE TOWER.
Built in 1494 during the reign of Henry VII, the Square Tower has had a varied history, it was designed as part of the fortifications to protect the rapidly expanding Naval Port.
The tower is now a multi use venue and regularly exhibits works of art, paintings, ceramics and jewellery produced by local artists and craftsmen.
The tower is part of the ARTches project aimed at turning the historic buildings in Old Portsmouth into an Arts and Crafts quarter for the city.
