INTECH SCIENCE CENTRE

Intech Science Centre, near Winchester in Hampshire, is home to the UKs largest planetarium and has over 100 hands on exciting science exhibits.

The largest Planetarium in the UK was opened at Intech in March 2008. It can seat 176 people and has a huge domed screen and state of the art digital projection which makes you feel you are travelling amongst the planets and stars. Depending on the show you can fly through the solar system, visit a black hole, or find out what you can see in the sky tonight. There is a small additional charge for the planetarium, not covered by the entry ticket to Intech.

Intech is administered by the educational charity, The Hampshire Technology Centre Trust Ltd, with the specific purpose of promoting the knowledge and understanding of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The stimulating, fun exhibition consists of 100 hands-on interactive exhibits, exploring the principles of science and technology and their applications in industry and the home.

Intech is an all-weather, under cover destination, has easy access from M3, free parking, cafe, picnic area and shop.

The centre is also available for corporate hire, birthday parties, special events and holiday activities.

The Intech Science Centre is open from 10:00am - 4:00pm every day.
